Host City Records

• Athens was the first host city in Europe & the first host city on the Balkan peninsula.
• Reykjavík was the first host city in the Nordic Region, the first host city which borders the Atlantic Ocean, & the first to host while not having won the previous contest.
  • Colombia declined to host after winning the inaugural PWSC
• Sarajevo was the first host city which belongs to the Slavs.
• Guadalajara was the first host city in the Americas, first in North America, first in Latin America, & the only one to host in multiple countries, with these countries being Mexico & the United States.
• Bandar Seri Begawan was the first host city in Asia.
• London was the first host city to host twice.
• Stockholm is the most recent host city to host while not having won the previous contest
  • Germany was slated to host PWSC XIX, but the head of delegation was permanently banned from the wiki and therefore, was revoked from hosting the contest. This also makes Stockholm the first to host after a country was removed from hosting involuntarily.
• As of September 2021, there has yet to be a host city in Africa, South America, or Oceania.
